Wine types

“Aleksandrouli” – red dry table ordinary wine which is made from the same kind of grapes. In Georgia it is cultivated mostly in Racha, Ambrolauri region. Our company planted this kind of grapes in Eastern Georgia, Signagi region, village Khornabuji and in Western Georgia, Imereti region, village Vartsikhe as an experiment. The wine is of ruby color, with varietal aroma. Conditions: alcohol – 10-12 vol%, titrated acidity – 5-7 gr/dm³. Enjoy with game.

“Chinuri” – white dry table ordinary wine which is made from the same kind of grapes, which is specialized in Georgia, Kartli region. Our company has planted this kind of grapes in Eastern Georgia, Signagi region, near village Khornabuji, in order to make an experiment. The results are satisfactory for making white dry table ordinary wine of european type “Chinuri”. The wine is of light straw color. The conditions: alcohol – 11,5%, titrated acidity – 6,5gr/dm³. Enjoy with game and melon.

“Khornabuji” – white dry table fine wine which is made from the Kisi grapes according to the technological scheme of making white dry table wines of european type. The wine has light straw color. Conditions: alcohol – 10,5-11,5-1 vol%, sugar – 0,2 gr/dm³, titrated acidity – 4,5 gr/ dm³. The wine is aged in the tank for 2 years. Enjoy with seafood, game, cheese and fruits.

“Anaga” – white fortified wine of Madeira type, which is made from the grapes of Rkatsiteli, Kakhuri Mtsvane and Khikhvi. The wine “Anaga” has the following features: color – deep amber, taste – harmonious, varietal aroma, bouquet- distinctively expressed Madeira tone, alcohol – 19 vol%, sugar – 4gr/100 cm³, titrated acidity - not more than 1,3gr/dm³. Enjoy with rice with meat, potatoes and cheese.

“Kindzmarauli” – red semi sweet table wine which is made from the grapes of Saperavi. The Saperavi grapes are cultivated by our company in two microregions of Kakheti: on the territory near the village Khornabuju, Signagi region and in Kvareli region, in Kindzmarauli. In order to make a semisweet red table wine “Kindzmarauli” the best winematerial is Saperavi, cultivated in microregion of Kindzmarauli. The wine has deep red color, fruity bouquet. Conditions: alcohol – 10,5-12 vol%, sugar –3-5 gr/100 cm³, titrated acidity – 5,0-7,0 gr/dm³. Enjoy with desserts and coffee.

“Dzvelshavi” – red dry table ordinary wine which is made from the same kind of grapes. Conditions: alcohol – 10,5-11,5 vol%, titrated acidity – 5,5-7,5 gr/dm³. Enjoy with game, pork and cheese.

“Rkatsiteli” – white dry table fine wine which is made from the same kind of modern local grapes by Kakhetian technology in “kvevri” (Georgian jugs). The wine has deep straw color, with developed fruit bouquet and aroma, the taste is harmonious. Conditions: alcohol – 11,5-1 vol%, titrated acidity – 4-6 gr/ dm³. Enjoy with seafood, game and cheese.

“Rkatsiteli Khornabujuli” – it is the same, only it is prepared from Rkatsiteli, Khikhvi and Mtsvane grapes.

“Tibaani” – white dry table fine wine of kakhetian type which is made from the grapes of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane. The wine is made by old Kakhetian method in “kvevri”. The wine is of amber color, the bouquet has a raisins taste. Conditions: alcohol – 11,5-13 vol%, titrated acidity – 4-6 gr/dm³, sugar – more than 25gr/l.

“Chkhaveri” – white semisweet table wine which is made from the same kind of grapes. This kind of grapes is cultivated in Georgia in Guria, in Chokhatauri region and in autonomous republic of Abkhazia. Our company has planted this kind of grapes in Kakheti, Signagi region, village Khornabuji as an experiment. The results show that this kind of grapes could be used to make white semisweet wine “Chkhaveri”. The wine “Chkhaveri” is of light straw color with pink shade, it has distinctive varietal aroma. Conditions: alcohol – 9,5-11 vol%, sugar – 3,5gr/100cm³, titrated acidity – 6-7,5 gr/ dm³.

“Mtsvane” – white dry table wine of european type which is made fro the same kind of grapes. The special characteristic of the young wine “Mtsvane” is its strong and pleasant varietal aroma. The conditions: alcohol – 10,5-11%, titrated acidity – 5-6,5gr/dm³. Enjoy with seafood, game and cheese.

“Kardanakhi” – a kind of port. Dessert aged wine, which is made from the winematerial of Mtsvane and Khikhvi. It is aged for 1,5 years. The wine has varietal bouguet, with dessert tone, honey taste. Conditions: alcohol – 18 vol%, residual sugar – 10%, titrated acidity – 4-6%. Enjoy with potatoes and cheese.

“Saperavi” – red dry table ordinary wine which is made from the same kind of grapes. The wine is made according to the technological isntructions of making red dry winematerials. The wine is of deep red. Conditions: alcohol – 10,5-12,5-1 vol%, titrated acidity – 5-7 gr/dm³. Enjoy with pork and cheese.

“Khikhvi” – white sweet dessert fine wine which is made from the same kind of grapes. So far this kind has been cultivated in Gurjaani region, near village Kardenakhi. Our company has planted this kind of grapes in Signagi region, near village Khornabuji, on the right bank of Alazani river. And it turned out that “Khikhvi” cultivated in this microzone also gives very good winematerials for making the wine of the same name. The color of this wine passes from light gold to deep gold. Conditions: alcohol – 15 vol%, sugar –18-20 gr/100 cm³, titrated acidity – 4-8 gr/dm³. Enjoy with rice with meat, beans, potatoes and cheese.

“Merlot T” – red dry table wine, which is made from the same kind of grapes. In this kind of grapes the content of tanin is less that is why the wine is more soft. The wine is of ruby color, with the varietal aroma. The conditions of Merlo: alcohol – 10- 12,5 vol %, sugar – not more than 0,3gr/100 cm³, titrated acidity – 5-7 gr/dm³. Enjoy with game and pork.

“Malbec” – red dry table wine which is made from the same kind of grapes. The “Malbec” wine is the color of ruby. The conditions of Malbec: alcohol – 10- 12,5 vol %, sugar – not more than 0,3gr/100 cm³, titrated acidity – 5-7 gr/dm³. Enjoy with game and pork.

“Cabernet Franc” – red dry table aged wine, which is made from the same kind of grapes. The wine material is aged for 3 years at 12-16° C. The wine is of deep pomegranate color, with distinctive bouquet, varietal aroma. The conditions: alcohol – 9-14 vol %, titrated acidity - 5-7 gr/dm³. Enjoy with potatoes, rice with meat.

“Cabernet” - red table aged wine which is made from the grapes of Cabernet-Sauvignon. The wine is of deep pomegranate color, with distinctive bouquet, varietal aroma. The conditions: alcohol – 9-14% Enjoy with grilled turkey and pheasant.

“Pinot Noir” – red dry table wine, which is made from the same kind of grapes. The conditions: alcohol– 9-14%, titrated acidity – 5-6,5gr/dm³. Enjoy with grilled chicken and pork.

“Chardonnay” – white dry table ordinary wine, which is made from the same kind of grapes. The wine is made by the classical european technology of making white table wines. The wine has fruit soft aroma. The conditions: alcohol – 10-12%, titrated acidity – 5,5-7 gr/dm³, sugar – not more than 0,3gr/cm³. Enjoy with fish in mayonnaise and duck meat.

“Kagor” – red dessert aged wine. In our company we use the following wine materials for making Kagor: grapes of Saperavi, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. The received winematerials are aged for three years. The wine Kagor is deep red. The conditions: alcohol – 16-17%, sugar – 16-25gr/cm³. Enjoy with pheasant and duck.

“Samotkhe” – red dry table wine, made by blending winematerials obtained from grapes Saperavi and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is of ruby color, with varietal aroma, fruit taste. Conditions: alcohol – 11vol.%, titrated acidity – 5,5 gr/dm³. Enjoy with pork meat and cheese.

“Tamaris Tsikhe” – white dry table wine made from Mtsvane grapes. The wine is of straw colour with greenish tint. Has distinctive varietal aroma Conditions: alcohol – 10,5vol.%, titrated acidity – 5,5 gr/dm³. Enjoy with fish in mayonnaise and with duck meat.

“Vazis Akvani” – red dry table wine made by blending winematerials obtained from the grapes of Saperavi and Aleksandrouli. The wine is of deep ruby colour with varietal aroma and bouquet typical for Saperavi and Aleksandrouli. Conditions: alcohol – 11,5vol.%, titrated acidity – 6 gr/dm³. Enjoy with game.

“Vazis Kari” – white dry table wine made by blending winematerials from Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane and Khikhvi. The wine is of light straw colour with greenish tint. Conditions: alcohol – 10,5vol.%, titrated acidity – 6 gr/dm³. Enjoy with fish in mayonnaise and with duck meat.

“Sauvignon” – white fry table wine made from the same variety of grapes. The wine is of light straw colour, with strong varietal aroma, pleasant and harmonious. Conditions: alcohol – 11,5vol.%, titrated acidity – 6,5 gr/dm³. Enjoy with seafood, game and cheese.

“Sakartvelos Legenda” – red dry table wine made from Saperavi grapes. The wine is of ruby colour. Conditions: alcohol – 10,5-12,5 vol.%, titrated acidity – 5-7 gr/dm³. The wine has distinctive extractivity which is combined with harmonious taste and rich bouquet. Enjoy with pork and cheese.
